Field Use Packages & Pricing Scheduling Process Re-Scheduling Games

Scheduling Process

The scheduling process is designed to be as fair as possible.  The WCBC Scheduling Meetings will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 - in plenty of time for SWOL League Game scheduling.

The scheduling process will follow a “serpentine” format:

Round 1 – Team 1 selects first, team “n” selects last.

Round 2 – Team “n” selects first, team 1 selects last.

Remaining rounds – follow the same serpentine format.

Teams who purchase more games will have scheduling priority as follows:

For example, scheduling rounds 1-5 will be for the 20-game teams to schedule their first five games.

Rounds 6-10 will then be for the 20-game teams to schedule their next five games and for the 15-game teams to schedule their first five games.

And so on from there until all teams have scheduled all their games.

The order of selection among 20-game teams, 15-game teams, 10-game teams, and 5-game teams will be decided by random number drawing “out of a hat”.

A WCBC Master Schedule will be created and posted on this website after the WCBC Scheduling Meeting.

New for 2012:

We will allow teams to play weekday double-headers on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays after Memorial Day.  This change is primarily for older teams whose players can drive.  However, it is available to all teams at all age groups.  Game times will be available at 4:00 and 6:30 on weekdays after Memorial Day.  A single team will have to select both games on a specific day (e.g. we cannot have one team play at 4:00 and another play at 6:30).

Teams are encouraged to schedule double-headers at WCBC - on weekends and on weekdays after Memorial Day.  Teams may schedule both games of a double-header during one scheduling round during the Scheduling Meeting (e.g. pick two games at a time so long as they are a double-header).
